INTUNIV is a chemical substance that crosses the blood-brain barrier and acts primarily upon the central nervous system where it affects brain function, resulting in changes in perception, mood, consciousness, cognition, and behavior. Intuniv also produces a range of physical side effects, as well as undesirable mental and physical manifestations when being discontinued. Because of these, Intuniv can be addictive. INTUNIV SIDE EFFECT: Hypotension

Low blood pressure, or hypotension, occurs when blood pressure during and after each heartbeat is much lower than usual. This means the heart, brain, and other parts of the body do not get enough blood.


INTUNIV SIDE EFFECT: Bradycardia

An abnormal heartbeat or a slow heart rate.


INTUNIV SIDE EFFECT: Syncope

Temporary loss of consciousness.


INTUNIV SIDE EFFECT: Dizziness

Refers to an impairment in spatial perception and stability.


INTUNIV SIDE EFFECT: Headache

A pain located in the head, as over the eyes, at the temples, or at the base of the skull.


INTUNIV SIDE EFFECT: Fatigue

Physical or mental weariness.


INTUNIV SIDE EFFECT: Nausea

A feeling of sickness in the stomach characterized by an urge to vomit.


INTUNIV SIDE EFFECT: Irritability

Easily irritated or annoyed.


INTUNIV SIDE EFFECT: Constipation

Constipation is a decrease in the frequency of stool.

A very sleepy state.
